Don't think I've seen this mentioned but I was behind an 07 today and the trunk brake light was blinking when the car was stopping. Can't say I liked it.
Must be some sort of aftermarket mod. I've seen this on a variety of cars (non-S2K)--it's definitely not OEM.

That was added after it was built. No US spec Honda comes with a blinking 3rd brake light.

About the air filter - Pep boys just sold me a K&N air filter that doesn't fit my car (06)... they switched to a cross bottom holding mechanism rather than a the old 'nub'.

Does anyone know if K&N has an 06 model or if they just sent me the wrong part.

Thanks! PM me if possible.

Any header will fit an MY06 with no problems.

Well, here's a consolidated post of what's been mentioned. Feel free to "proof read" it and let me know if you want something added, deleted, or changed.

The 39th Tokyo Motor Show, held from October 22 to November 6, 2005, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, had dozens of cars and motorcycles on display, but it was the new S2000, equipped with even more advanced features than ever before, that shared the Motor Sports Zone stage with a rare close-up look at Honda

New Battery, CCA increased from 410 to 500. I got an OEM replacement battery from the dealer and they are all the new Spec. 31500-SB2-100M.
Does that battery part number apply to MY00-03 AP1 as well? I remember someone else posting that it might have been

31500-SH1-C01JB

Does the AP1/AP2 batteries have different part numbers or is the 100M a newer one that covers all S2000s?

Thanks.

In case this hasn't been mentioned yet, the MY06+ does not have a proportioning valve for the rear brakes. It may be built into the VSA modulator, but it is definitely not the same type of proportioning valve setup that is found on PY S2000s.
