Not sure if anyone has mentioned this or not....
MY07 has quite a bit more leg room than 00-05, not sure if they changed this in 06 or 07.

Ok...I am kicking myself in the ass for wasting time looking this information up, but you are on glue. Here are the official overall length measurements for every MY S2000:

MY00 - 162.2"
MY01 - 162.2"
MY02 - 162.2"
MY03 - 162.2"
MY04 - 162.2"
MY05 - 162.2"
MY06 - 162.2"
MY07 - 162.2"
MY08 - 162.2"

There hasn't been any changes, not even a millimeter, in the overall length of the S2000. Any differences you may be "feeling" are most likely attributed to interior changes (i.e., seating position/height, steering wheel, etc..

The 06-07 does have more leg room. Not sure where it comes from. Maybe the seat goes back further?

Dave - that is quite a list you put together. I just reread it, since it applies. Thanks!

Just a few things to add since dealing with it:

Primary o2 sensors through the years:

00 - 36531-PCX-004
01 - 36531-PCX-004
02 - 36531-PCX-004
03 - 36531-PCX-004
04 - 36531-PZX-A01
05 - 36531-PZX-A01
06 - 36531-PZX-003
07 - 36531-PZX-003
08 - 36531-PZX-003 (incl. CR)

Also, torque on the main brake caliper braket bolts was changed to AP1 spec.

Go sit in an older S, move the seat all the way back and reach for the pedals. Then go sit in an 07; you will notice a major difference. Again I do not know if they made this change in 06 or 07.

What a great correlation of info.

Thanks.

Regarding the O2 sensor.

MY07 failed emissions testing, turns out this sensor failed.
Upon searching for a replacement, there apparently has been many failures & Honda has a new part & new part #. Appears to be a new supplier too.
This is second hand info, can anyone confirm this?
