UTH changes on the 06 S2000
^^^ interesting photo of the AP1 tag in a 2006 car. must be a euro thing. US cars do not have that tag under the hoods.
btw, regarding the CCA on the batteries as posted above. my 2007 OEM battery clearly states 410 CCA on the battery sticker. maybe over the counter batteries are 500 CCA.

You must be correct that this only applies to over the counter batteries. Thank you for the correction.

Yep... only F20C for Europe. That's what got me confused in the first place

check out this thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=506221 it seems that '06 s2ks have different rear springs than '04-'05... now the question is does the 1 additional coil alter the spring rate?
You're absolutely right IMHO sodaking663rd. Some of the posts make it sound like they're bolting side cars on the "06" or bolting espresso machines in the cockpit aka Pimp My Ride. I had an 04 that was stolen and stripped and so I bought my 06 a year ago. I loved the first car but I did appreciate the small refining tweaks of the 06. The seats seem definitely a bit more comfortable and glove-like. I just drove 1200 miles nonstop, twice, and other than a few gas and leg stretching stops, the ride seemed like a breeze and comfortable. I like the engine computer that tells engine oil life. It can save a few dollars instead of over changing especially when using expensive synthetics. The day driving lights are a nice safety as well. Knocking the minute enhancements is like lamenting that there's glass in the rear window instead of murky plastic or that the roof doesn't leak like the "real original English roadsters".
