Thumbs up installing gauges.. what wire to get power from?

hey i just got my 2 gauge pillar pod in with two gauges. one is oil pressure other is air fuel ratio.

My majour question is . where the easiest place to get power to the gauges from?
there are so many damn wires and i dont have the diagram and cant find one. so please let me know which wire to tap into to get power ..

if you would like to help me more you can give me a full description of how to do the oil pressure and air fuel... im sure i can figure the air fuel ratio out it wont give me a good reading because i am non turbo anyways. ...

i would preferably have the gauges light up only when i turn the headlights on.. but it doesnt matter to much..

thanks for your help guys !

one last simple question if you happen to know.

when decelerating while still in gear my car makes a loud vibration noise sounds like it is coming from right under me or under the dash. i heard its the clutch, just want to make sure it is normal for the s2k/

Make sure the oil pressure sender you have does not have taipered threads. There have been some unlucky owners who have done serious damage using a taipered thread pressure sender since the oem sender is not taipered. Using a taipered one will crack the pressure sender bung.

Why do you think you won't get a good reading because you are turbo?

AFR is as important for a NA car as it is for a turbo, particularly when it revs to 9000.

the normal a/f gauge mated with our stock narrow band o2 sensor would be as useful as a hammer make of candy. just see it on ebay to some clueless civic driver.

what brand is your gauge?

make sure you have a sensor for the oil pressure gauge if its a electrical, for the mechanial oil pressure gauge, just make sure you have lone enough nylon tube to route to the cabin.

depends on your gauge brand, there's usually a dimmer mode(night)
