V-TEC Rev Limiter
Hi i just purchased a s2k im new to this was wondering-
So i started up the car from work and went home. Went out the parking lot on to the road and Rev'd to 6000 rpm and suddenly the car slows down like it was at the rev limit; is it true when the engine is not fully warmed enough you can't rev higher than 6000 rpm?

lol I did the same thing the first few weeks of owning the car...I thought sonmething broke on me already....Now I have a starter or Ill let the car warm up till 3 bars till I drive it past 5700 (vtec in my car)...
Read the manual. I believe it discusses the cold-engine rev-limiter. Otherwise, you should try to rely on common sense. It's bad for your car to drive it hard before the fluids are not warmed up. Just don't do it. It makes baby Jesus cry.
