I just ordered a VAFC to start off with the aftermarket stuff on the car. I am wondering if anyone has pics of theirs installed, I really cant decide on what I want to do with it. I will propably end up flush mounting it in the dash, but just want some ideas before I go through with that.

Some people have mounted it in the following places.

1. Inside the OEM Radio Door
   
2. Inside the Interior Dome Light
   
3. Sun visor
   
4. Flush moutn within the center console near the cup-holder
   
5. Underneath the dash where your right knee would hit
   
6. On top of the dash near drivers side A-pillar

That should be a few to choose from. I don't have any pictures of them, since the search is down.

 

As soon as the search comes back online, I am sure I'll have my decision made, I will also be using a boost controller, and turbo timer from Apexi, so I have to chose a place where all 3 can be mounted together, so it looks descent. I ordered the guage mount A-Pillar from science of speed today, so I think it would look cluttered if it were mounted over there. I also thought of putting the leather covered piece behind the cup holder on hinges, and hiding the controls under there, but got knows how much money and time would have to go into doing that so it looks nice.

 

I want to get one sometime, and I am going to put it in the OEM radio door.

 

That would be cool, but I am also gonna have the boost controller and turbo timer to worry about mounting. I am propably going to hinge that leather covered piece like I was talking about. I could also put a LCD screen in there with tuning software on a hidden cpu.
