vafc question
So if my friends Si got hit, and got it fixed but they reset the ECU (which i think put his A/F ratio back to the way it was) so his power is all off, no power up to 3k rpm, then the power feels very wrong after that. So i took it that his A/F got messed up when the ECU was reset, and the VAFC is messing it us. If he just resets his VAFC through the "Initialize" Will it just put his car back to the Stock settings?
Any help?
Thanks

No, it'll put the V-AFC back to IT'S stock setting, which probably won't be right for your Civic. That is, the MAP sensor type won't be 06 06, the number of cylinders may be wrong and the orientation of the throttle position may be incorrect.
Generally V-AFCs hold their setting regardless of power, but it shouldn't be hard to tell if it has been reset. Any changes in the A/F maps will be gone.
I would suggest you get a tuner to look at it.

Alright, thank you...
But as far as a normal Driver goes, theres nothing he can do to put it back to just Si stock settings? Just so the car runs a little better? Or tuned again?
Thanks again
