hopefully this thread isnt dead !!!

i have vafc2 tuned for a DC5R and i will initialise all settings to zero it.

what are the basic settings i can set it at to use VAFC as a meter and thats it!!

do i just wire it up and initialise all or do i need to select sensors, cylinders etc?

please help me find the settings i need to have my stock S2k (apart from a K&N drop in filter) runnign as a meter as i willl not require a dyno tune for i have basically no mods.

thanks

Hey man,

I have the same code problem. Did you just reset everything and then start over. I have a wideband in my car so tuning it again isnt a problem, but we also tuned it from 3000 up. I dont know, just what the guy did who tuned it. I have some correction factors up in the high rev range as high as -21.

pre 6000 -5
6000-6
6500-8
7000-10

If I had to do it again, I can probably tune it myself. It was pretty easy once you saw the dyno and the figures of the a/f.

In my case, the car after 3k ran around 10-10.8 in the a/f. So basically, the tuner started off by tunning everything at the beginning to -10..

That brought up the whole curve to around where he wanted to be. Then you adjust the high and low spots.

But through out the whole thing, was around 12.5 in a/f.
