Default Valentine Radar

Dear Forumphiles,

I have a Valentine V1 Radar detector and need suggestions as to its installation (temporary of permanent) as I got caught a few days ago, by a mobile radar trap (god, do I HATE those).

I tried to search for the topic, but that has been off-line for 3 days now (so much for improvements I guess, huh!?).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!

I installed mine without the removal of any covering. You can pull the plastic down slightly and push it right under. Looks just like the other install but less time consuming.

Also, look in the S2000 Talk forum...Rick started a couple of threads about his stealth install, and I added in my 2 cents worth.

Ulrich,

Next time, take the driver's seat out...it's only 4 bolts on the track and a plug under the seat. It takes about 5 minutes, but it's WELL worth the time when spending more than 5 seconds under the dash.

Excellent article. Any tips on installing the concealed display in conjunction with this hardwiring?
