I did a valve adj and my misfire has been gone for 3000 miles.

If that was the problem then it won't come back until its out of spec again

I also had a misfire on 1 cylinder that would show up every once in a while.
After doing a valve adjustment I haven't had it since (5,000+ miles ago).
