Default Valvetrain questions

I am taking off the head. Getting the head machined, valve job, SuperTech guides and stem seals with AP2 retainers. Should I go dual valve springs? And if I do, am I required to change the spring seats as well? I'm not going forced induction. But I hear duals can help IF a miss shift happens. Thanks!

Nah, in fact I'm willing to bet your OEM valve springs are still good. Stick to OEM you can't go wrong. If you're replacing the guides use new valves, if the guides are bad enough that they're leaking compression or oil, then I'm sure they've eroded the valve stem as well. AP2 retainers are all the insurance you'll ever need, because frankly if you over-rev your car to the point that you destroy ap2 retainers you have bigger problems than cracked retainers. You'll have to lap the new valves so they seat properly.
