Are you sure? Assuming the red line is with the cams, he lost lots of power below 5500 RPM, and only gained a couple of ponies above 6k. I'll be very disappointed if my cams show the same results. However, I will point out that he's running the stock ECU and not doing any fuel tuning. With some fuel tuning, hopefully he could bring up his torque below 5500, pull out another 7-12hp above VTEC, and he should be able to keep the power up past 8300.

How about it speeeding? Slap a VAFC on there and see what you can get out of it.

That really doesn't make any sense. Why would the LVT cam profile be tuned for a loss? This isn't like a header, where a gain up top might require a loss down low. These cams are VTEC cams, right?

Speeding,
I think the answer would be in your A/F ratio.... do you have a plot of that handy....

Can sombody translate that graph. Did you gain high and loose low or loose high and gain low?

From the V1 cams that I have heard installed they got mucho gains pre-vtec and seemed to not gain or loose on the top end. Wonder if that is still the case.

I'm running a stock header and ECU, and all I did was increase the fuel pressure up to 56psi. Wideband sensor was out that day, and ECU was not reset.
However, I did start with 70psi and worked my way down to 56psi, which at that point stopped making power.
I'm looking into getting either a Motec or HKS F-con...any opinions or preferences on these?
I think there is something seriously weird with my stock ECU... It's very resistant to changes, and even after repetitive resettings, CEL NEVER comes on w/ the test pipe.

Why not just go AEM ems? It plugs into the stock harness, uses stock sensors and can be tuned locally.
