Hey guys I recently put my car in the shop for the cams @ www.p1auto.com. So far they dynoed my HP increase form the toda header and gained 8hp don't have the dyno graph yet but i'll post it asap. Then the ecu AEM was installed and was mildly tuned even without touching the timing and we gained close to 10 HP. Now for the last step is the cams an valve springs are getting installed and will post all that info when I find out the results... ~nate

Hi guys,

I'm new to the forum. I'm from Brunei, owning a JDM S2000. Im also interested in getting the Toda cams, however it's still on order with Toda Japan saying that there is no definite stock yet. So the burning question is - Are the Toda Cams really that good? Reading all 17 pages of this thread makes me wonder, should i stick with the Toda route? FYI, i dont plan to FI my car...I do have the choice of Spoon cams, but i was made to believe Toda cams gives major HP gains.

If it is that good, any chance of exporting it from the States to Brunei?

FYI, my engine setup:
SPOON Head Gasket (on the shelf)
SPOON Polished Valves (on the shelf)
TODA Valvesprings (on the shelf)
HKS 4-2-1 Header
HKS Hiper Exhaust
RSR Sports Converter
HKS F-Con S (minimal tune, still needs fine tuning from JUN's Koyama-san)
ARC Air Intake
ARC Intake Chamber
SPOON Throttle Body

Note: All engine internal mods are put on hold pending on the cams. Cams had been on order since July! Toda seems to concentrate on the US market more than the domestic market, cos there has been a severe shortage of Toda cams in the Japanese and Asian market on a whole.
