Video of my cracked K&N oil filter
The oil filter had 2.5 track days on it by the time I found some sort of oil leak. Total mileage would have been (~200 track miles and ~400 street miles).
I thought at first I had a leak on my oil cooler lines but it was from the oil filter, on the top side. I did have 1 off, but the off should have caused a crack on the bottom side. Just for everyone's situational awareness.

One of the few (maybe only?) pluses of that filter is the safety wire provisions.
And it looks like you weren't even using that little plus.

You catch the leak in time? No engine damage, I hope.

I had to drive ~300 miles home with the leak since I couldn't find where it was originated from. I kept thinking it was from the oil cooler. I checked oil level every 30-50 miles and just need a 1/4 qt refill when I got home. I have had ~1000 track miles since and no problem.
