Violent idle vibration after accident
Hey guys, just oversteered, and the front of my AP1 hit the side of a mountain. The front bumper's messed up, obviously
Other than that, the car idles pretty violently and loudly at idle. When I rev it up even a little, this goes away.
I'll get a body shop to fix it all this week anyway. But I was just wondering if those of you who know this car really well might know what this is.
The car is completely stock.
Thanks in advance, and sorry for crashing an s2k ): I'll think hard about whether I can actually handle this car and start taking it very easy for a while after getting it back.

My first thought is broken motor mount. Open the hood, then rev it up, and see if motor moves a lot when you rev it.

Sorry to hear about your accident. These cars can give a little bit too much confidence at times. I usually realize this when I am not driving it, expecting the car I am in to handle the road the same way.

Motor mount(s). Only replace with new OEM.

However, it does beat the alternative. Crashing off a mountain...

Or a mountain crashing into you
