Vortech Supercharger Owners.
Well I'm partial to the Comptech. It gives you twenty more horses, they know this engine really well, and it's easy to install. Price is about 4800 online at www.comptechusa.com. Check the power at the wheels dyno graphs on both web sites. Power on the Comptech is higher and I installed mine in a weekend.
I actually the Vortech SC is awesome. I could totally feel the before and the after the kit was installed. I haven't dynoed it yet but planning on doing it soon. However here is the link of what i've did in a 1/4 mile run.

The Comptech doesn't give more power than the Vortech, all the Dynojet printouts I've seen are about the same +- 5 hp. The one on the Vortech website isn't a Dynojet. However if the air temp is high, the Vortech will certainly give more hp and torque because of the powercooler. The outlet side of my powercooler has been relatively cool regardless of how hard I've been driving, so it isn't there just to look cool, it is cool. This is why Comptech plans on adding one to their kit in the future (making it even more expensive).
