Guys

I made the mistake of trying to VTEC whilst the engine was cold (1 bar). However the engine cut at approx 6000rpm

is this normal?

Thanks

Are you kidding? Your s2ki age is more than 2 years, so surely you are, but just in case... you should take some time to read:

All your problems... solved (#14 would be of interest to you)

and

Under the hood FAQs.

By the way.. the cold-rev-limiter is normal... use of the word "whilst" is not.
