can some one grab of pick of the vtec solenoid, or where to connect it.. ill check that out also! thanks!

 

It's right above the oil filter. You will throw a CEL if it's not connected. I know this because I forgot to reconnect if after an oil change once.

 

im having the exact same problem

i checked all my fluids so far and replaced the filters..

next thing im chcking is the wiring to the vtec solenoid...and maybe replacing the entire solenoid if it helps? =[


any other advice?

this is done when car is warmed up and with 5+ fresh bottles of mobil 1 synthetic...and new filter...both oil and air.


EDIT: PS. i have cel p1259 - vtec system malfunction =[
