If you only rev it to 7000-7500, it should see about 5-6psi.

 

Every Vortech I've worked on had this same interference. One car had a huge gash in the AC line, it was ready to blow in a few days. It's an aluminum line, and you can easily bow it down a little to clear the BOV.
