I found some water over the top of my alternator but I don't know where it could be coming from. I wiped it off yesterday but the puddle reappeared today. There is some corrosion on the side of the alternator that makes me think this has been a happening for a while.



Any thoughts as to the source?

Or possibly coming from the snorkel, but likely same source as others mentioned. It looks like more than just water/condensation based on the corrosion.

Thanks guys I was unaware the throttle body was water cooled (or water heated?).

It's to heat it up so the throttle doesn't stick during freezing conditions, it's pretty common to bypass it.
