Yeah, it is the OEM alarm indicator!

What would be killer is if you can tap the wire for the light to be a redline indicator!!

Anyone have any idea of how to do this????

Thats correct. It's installed with the alarm, in the center 'console'.

Someone on the board sold a product that taps into the wires to light up the LED and simulate an alarm. The item works great. I think his name is Cyclon36. There was thread about it last year.

What do you need a redline indicator for? The red bars flash when you hit it...

I have this mod and it works great. It was a simple two wire hook up and it looks like the factory alarm is working everytime you turn off the car.

You would think I already knew that, but I have yet to redline!

Maybe I should redline it to see for myself!
