My plan is to drive it for a week each summer, refresh fluids if appropriate, then put it back in storage. I don't want to leave the liability coverage on it all summer. Too expensive. A couple of weeks? Yes. More than that? No.

I'm not going to put it on jack stands. It would be hard to do at the storage location, and I'm not sure I buy into that theory. I'll store it on old tires like I normally do.

I like milokings approach.

2. D'Arcy - when you spray the undercarriage, do you have it on a lift? Up on jack stands? How do you get under there to do this?

Rob.
1. change the fluids now- then just drive it when you bring it out of storage.
2. Yes- I use my floor jack and put it up on one side- jack stand on the one side- spray around. do the other side next.

Its what I would do with my own car.

I wouldn't leave car on jack stands because of bushings would be then stretched all the time.
One suggest what I have heard is to put more pressure to tires to avoid flat spots.

I don't think anyone suggested leaving on jack stands with suspension hanging. A few weren't clear thats what they meant when they just said 'on jack stands'.

OP has a junk set of tires he will use for storage, so no worries about flat spots.
