Default What does this mean?

Ok so I put my car into first yesterday. Slowly let off the clutch like normal and gave it a little gas but nothing....I completely let off of the clutch with it in first and nothing. gave it gas, and it only reved. Then i tried to pull it out of first with the clutch in, thinking hell maybe it wasnt. but it would not let me pull it out until i had the clutch in.

I put the pedal back in pull the shifter out and then back into 1st and it worked....

first time this has ever happened. Think I should start to look around for transmissions?

My AP1 does the same thing, 20,000 miles later tranny still does it and not a hint of transmission failure. You should be fine, how many miles do you have?

check the fluid level in the master cylinder, yours may be extremely low letting air into the system

thats what I was thinking but all fluid levels are fine....also my tranny has 58K. I think I may just get another one. I am hitting a notch in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th right now. with it getting cold quick I could pull the tranny and get something else and not have to rush everything
