What grease on bearing

Default What grease on bearing

I dont have any of the honda high temp and my dealship didnt have any. I was wondering is there anything at an autostore i can buy that would work on the throwout bearing and pilot bearing???

High temp wheel bearing grease will work.

chicken. or greese from an egg roll.


but in all seriousness, just get a good synthetic greese from the local autoparts. make sure you get the input shaft and the face of the throwout bearing.

when you say face what do you exactly mean? Is it where the fork touches, the input shaft goes through, or the face where if it is laying on the ground flat it would be on top? Also dont you put it on the pilot bearing as well?

where the "fingers" of the pressure plate meet the bearing. it should be on the opposite side of the fork. just put a dot on the polot bearing. keep it far from the clutch disc though
