Default Is this about the average part cost for clutch?

My clutch is starting to go. Still driveable but its starting to slip. I'm assuming when replacing the clutch, its recommended to replace the throw-out bearing and pressure plate as well? Although, I can't complain about the TO bearing, because last time I had the TO bearing on my last AP1, it was making noise. This one is completely silent. From Majestic, I got a cost of $464.36 for all three parts. I know dealer won't come near that and I won't do anything other than OEM. I have a friend who would be swapping it all out with my help for $200 so a total of like 670.00 for the entire job with new parts. So, just confirm it, the pressure plate and TO is a must correct? Oh, and the pilot bearing...?

Resurface the pressure plate and flywheel. Get a new throwout bearing.

Well the cost of the parts you are paying is less than the $800 costs in labor I have been quoted twice at dealerships. I decided to change them out both times myself to save money and learn more. ALWAYS replace the throwout bearing and sometimes the pressure plate should be changed out but I usually change mine very other time lol. As far as the pilot bearing I am an ass about that too and change it out every other time as well. I do run an after market setup (clutch masters FX300) and usually have to change the clutch about every 20K as the amount of stress I put on it. But if you are not like me always changing stuff out and your clutch lasts longer than me then by all means change it all out while you have it apart. You can't go wrong if you change it out just in case

Sounds like a good deal. You can resurface the flywheel as others have said. Get a new pressure plate, clutch disc , throw out and pilot bearing.

I'll see if soooomehow I can get my dealership to offer me wholesale price again.. One of the sales people matched Majestics price and wholesaled it too so I got both motor mounts on my past AP1 pretty cheap. And as for labor, I would do it myself, I did on my past AP1 and it was so and so.. But I want to have it at the shop so I can also get that pressure plate resurfaced as well and have the correct tools. I feel like the pressure plate could definitely be had for less.

Don't get pressure plate resurfaced. Buy a new one. Resurface the flywheel.

[Update]

I called Bell Honda, got retail pricing and it was muuuch more than Majestic. Than he gave me wholesale (20% off retail) pricing and its still more expensive than Majestic and than he gave me (25%) but I think after tax and what not I think its worth getting it from Majestic.

Majestic- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Dealer
(Clutch) $110.92-----------------(Retail $160.75 - Wholesale $128.75)
(Pressure Plate) $224.92-----(Retail $325.97 - Wholesale $260.97)
(Throwout Bearing) $94.65---(Retail $137.18 - Wholesale $109.60)
