Default What is this part?

Directly under the TCT, has a rubber cover over it - yellow wire with red stripe. Looks like its got something to do with the vtec solenoid.

Come on someone knows. Its a wire terminal connected to a plug directly connected to the block.

Oil pressure switch for the idiot light on the cluster.

If I lose that connection will that trigger the oil pressue light to come on? I assume its some sort of short type system.

No, mine was disconnected when I installed an aftermarked oilpressure gauge and I dont have any CEL with it.

That oil pressure switch is not connected to the PCM. If you ground that wire the low oil light will come on.
