This actually sounds like the best idea for changing all the fluids...

Stands, w. wheels under car all day.
Ramps can damage heh

If you see yourself under your car(s) often in the future... Invest in some nice tools. Not saying there is anything wrong w. the autozone brand, but you get the point.

Good luck

Safest, fastest, easiest way:

-Pull the car onto Rhino Ramps, then block the front wheels on the ramps.

-then jack the rear by the dif, put stands under the rear subframe or corner jack points.

-if your floor jack doesnt reach under (common on AP2 due to bumper clearance) just use the honda jack and raise one rear corner 3-4 inches. This allows a clean shot under the dif with the floor jack.

-after this, use the center front jack point for front wheel service, susp, etc. At this point, you are raising a level car, and avoid any harsh or unsafe jackstand angles.

Super safe. Best way to go.

Jacking one end of the car while the other is on stands is dangerous, as the jack can pull the stand over. It can't pull a ramp over plain and simple. Just be sure to block the wheels on the ramps themselves, or have an assistant hold the brake pedal down firmly.

Also, letting one end of the car down on stands is the best way to get killed, and it happened to a member here on s2ki with his s2k.

I have raised and worked on s2ks with the quoted method above over 1000 times. Trust me as you all have with my other posts. Be safe.

I use ramps to start then jack up and put on 4 stands. Made the ramps myself they are hilarious looking but they work time after time.

I don't use ramps for fluid changes for a couple reasons.

1. For tranny and diff, the car needs to be level. 4 jack stands is the way to go.
2. For oil change, I like to jack up the back side to help facilitate draining a little quicker.. easier when the car is on ground level. Jack up the front to get at drain bolt, and put a jack stand under for protection, then drop it back down and jack up the rear a little.

Hence why ramps first, then jack the back to level.
