When to Adjust Valve?

I had mine done at about 23K just because I was getting a Hondata intake manifold gasket installed. Paid $350 for both.

idles smoother. pulls more consistently throughout the band. That's the butt dyno talking perhaps but I trust it.

definately revs smoother, and my gas mileage is much improved, right off the bat my first tank was a little over 320 miles, where before i had never gotten more than 280. all freeway miles though, but still, decent numbers.

I'm going to do this by myself the weekend... I will let you guys know how it went...
For $150, I can get the proper tools plus extra money for dinner with my gf..

Lol, I'd be happy to see anything over 200 out of a tank with my driving.

If this helps.

I had my valves adjusted yesterday on my 2001. It has 45 000 miles and all the exhaust was too tight. Intake was ok.

Just a FYI. So im guessing it won't do any harm to adjust your valves.

every 15 to 20 k for me(if not less), the recent one at 125k was pretty close to spec, only 4-5 was very very slightly loose

after half a dozen done you can knock it down to an hour of work
