Hey guys, I know I don't have many posts, but I've been stalking these forums for a while.

I have 65k on my car, and I go w.o.t. all the time, plus, I usually hit vtec in every gear (well except 6th ). I do this everyday, no kidding. I also take turns 10-15 over. I really tear this car up. But... I never dump the clutch, miss a gear, and I change the oil every 3k miles. Plus, I change my Trans, and Diff. every 15k. So it's well maintained.

I'd like to hear from anyone that drives this car Hard, if they've had any problems. Also, any s2k owner with high mileage, if you've had any problems please let me know.

I've had only the battery die on me, and nothing else. I just can't imagine that this can go on much longer without some major going wrong.... or can it?

 

I drove like an idiot with my first S2000 too. I put 81,000 hard miles on it including trips to the 1/4 mile, auto-X days, and a few track days as well. I never had any problems with mine. In fact, I'd probably still have it if it wasn't for the fact that it was stolen. On top of everything else, I had an unusually strong AP1. I consistently dynoed about 10rwhp higher than any other AP1s.


Don't be an idiot like I was though. Keep the crazy schitt on the track.

 

people that track their s2k put WAY more stress on the car than you do on the street...
