I'll be getting my car dyno'd this weekend and the dyno owners are asking in advance if I know where the tach signal to save them the trouble of having to find it/out.

The Blue RPM output lead won't work with the Dyno's pickup.

Remove the coil cover, and put the pickup around the wiring to #1 ignition coil.

 

Also, making sure the three wires that Slows2k mentioned are flat and in a row will often solve issues with weird signal pickups, I've found.

No need to remove anything. Just behind the intake manifold by the firewall is a small loop of plastic sheathed wire. The loop has a stripe of white tape on it. Your ignition pickup should go here for a #1 cylinder spark signal. This is the same lead we use to do ignition timing calibration.
