i had this issue with my old 1991 civic hatch, after i adjusted the idle screw a little higher the whistling quieted. Haven't tried this on the s2k so idk.

Intake whistle. Very common.

I have a comptech Intake, 115k my car has never done it.

Seems about 30% of the s2ks I see do it. Even low mile cars.

It's the edge of the throttle plate whistling. You don't hear it stock because the airbox is designed to mask it. It's the throttle angle at a certain intake volume that causes it. Once you figure out where it happens you can do it at will.

Try cleaning the inside of the throttle body and the edge of the throttle plate, eliminated my whistle.

I used carb cleaner, a toothbrush, Q-Tips, and microfiber towel.

Mine had it with OEM airbox w/ K&N filter, as well as my FIPK. Now that I have my Comptech SC setup, it isn't there anymore! It is probably the SC and intake masking the noise like everyone has said.
