Wideband sensor instal!

Default Wideband sensor instal!

Hi,

I have a AEM wideband sensor ready to fit but I also have a 3" berk exhaust...

The AEM sensor says its supposed to be in a 2" pipe my exhaust is 3" all the way.. Do I have a big issue here? (The exhaust is decat)

it shouldnt be a problem. I know ive run a few in my boosted cars and it doesnt matter

make sure you put it somewhere near the exhaust manifold, as it is more accurate and warms up quicker closer to the engine.

Where exactly? In place of the secondary o2 sensor? Or forward of this?

I think it was said not too close to the manifold to avoid damage?
Secondary should be fine really.

Well, a "wideband" or A/F sensor needs to be 1400 degrees to reach operating temperature. Second 02 sensor will work, just expect the readings to be slightly skewed on warm up

bc its the secondary o2... it will be a faux reading at first but usually after the first couple min its fine.!
