then it's most likely the driveshaft. also, if you completely removed the driveshaft to replace the clutch you may have installed it in the wrong position. sometimes if a driveshaft isn't put back in exactly the same way it came out, it can make a noise like what you're hearing.

I purposely put s2k driveshafts back in the wrong position (markings not aligned) to prove a point

No way your noise is from an "out of phase" driveshaft.

no, i didnt think putting it on the wrong way mattered for noise. I had a problem with my propeller shaft about 2 years ago. It was making a noise similar to this, but i dont think it mattered if the clutch was engaged or not. Oh well, i guess ill just have to start replacing things and see what it is bc im stumped and hate taking the car to honda!!!

when you guys say driveshaft, do you mean the propellar shaft, or the half-shafts going to the wheels?

could be prop shaft or clutch installation error or transmission linkages....up to you to diagnose, seems like you've had quite a bit of work done to the drivetrain.

Sounds like an exhaust leak. An out of phase driveshaft shouldn't make any noise, just vibration.

it cant be too bad. a noise that loud on anything with a serious load would have died by now. then again it could be on its way out. ive no flippin clue. BUT. my kia sephia was makin the same noise a couple weeks ago. ended up being the ac clutch was sticking . but im intereseted to see how this turns out. ill run this by my pop (my mechanic) see what he thinks. hes not wrong too often
