this is a new part number I've heard.

The PROPER filter for the s2000 is the PCX-004 filter.

The one you mentioned may fit, but is NOT the proper filter for the car

I want to my local dealer and purchased filters for my MDX and S2000. They gave me two filters. 15400-PLM-A02. They claim this number fits both the MDX and S2000. Well, I get home change the oil and filter in the MDX. No problem. I drained the oil in the S2000 and go to take the filter out and realize the situation. New filter is smaller than the one on the car. Remembering I may have an oil filter in the cabinet, I go and get out and discover the part number 15400-PR3-004. I now can't remember if I got this for the S2000 in 2002 or if it was for one of my earlier Accords.

Anyway here is my situation. Oils drained and I need to go to work tomorrow. Do I use the PR3 or the PLM?

PLM is for the MDX, PR3 is for the S. The PR3 is American made, But the same size as the PCX made in Japan. The PR3 is old dealer stock. Use the PR3 and don't worry about it.

yes, he's correct.

Sorry if I mislead you. The PCX replaced the PR3.....good to go.

DO NOT USE THE PLM. There have been many discussions about this new PLM (smaller) filter. It will fit, but may not provide the flow requirements for the engine.

Good luck!
