Default windshield replacement

I just had my front windshield replaced, and wanted to ask you guys about it. Apparently the shop used a non-HONDA windshield. I can live with this, as I'm sure a HONDA labeled piece of glass would cost twice as much. The molding they used doesn't look or feel like my original, (as far as I can remember). I thought my original molding was a fairly firm rubber/plastic. The one they put on is much more rubbery, and can be easly lifted up at all the edges.

1. Have any of you needed to have your windshield replaced?
2. Did the new molding resemble your original molding?
3. If not, should this matter?

As always, thanks for you help.

Yes, when it was 3 months old and I will have to get another one because it has a hole again.

For some reason this windshield seems to attrackt stones

I'm not sure about the original, but the new one is very flexible and tends to pop out in 2 places from time to time.

By the way, mine is a original Honda windshield, so that does not seem to make a difference.

I need to replace mine. 30K highway miles and two stone chips. I'll get all the parts from Honda and do the work myself utilizing the service manual as my guide.
I just don't trust others workmanship and I would like to keep the car as original as possible.
