I finally got my s2k running the other day figured out it was the inertia switch stopping my car from running abd the car fired up first time...now i went to start it this morning and now for no reason i cant hear the fuel pump priming now..i checked fuses and battery is good...was thinking what wire can i give 12v to to check it the fuel pump itself workin

 

can anyone help?

no none at all i got the car starting for the fisrt time in a year then just switched it off the next day went to start it and no sound from the fuel pump so i guess it just packed up because i cant hear it priming and fuses are all ok

 

did you make sure it has power going to the fuel pump? there's a helms manual floating around for 00-03 s2000's, if you don't know how to check voltage for the fuel pump I suggest looking there first; if you can't find it shoot me a pm w/ your email and I'll send it to you.

 

yeah i went through the manual and it has voltage and all coming from the pgmfi so i thought it should be ok but i just tought it was a bit strange for the pump to fail after been started for the first time in about a year so it was why i asked did anyone know what wire to give 12v to see if its working itself before trying other things
