It's in the 3rd as I type. THIS is what the NHL All Star game should be like. I don't know who to cheer for. I have favorites on both teams.
Are you watching on the internet? Jerry says it doesn't come on until 7 pm.

WOW, what a great game. The US can't get too high because there's a long road ahead but they earned some respect tonight. And how about that Red Wing Brian Rafalski!! And Michigan's Miller.

Don't you love it with no breaks, no ads every two minutes, just go, go, go hockey until the period ends...

I think that the lack of fighting also helped to keep the game moving. I know that fighting is a traditional part of the NHL game, but I prefer the game without it. I always found it to be just another interruption in the game.

Great minds, think alike. I was thinking the same thing.

That was quite a game allright, and the Russians looked tough today too. Lot of hockey left to play. I think it was very smart and polite for the US not to get overly passionate after the win.

I am planning on watching Sweden & Finland at midnight. I figured I'd watch Russia & Czechs which I taped while I was waiting but the in the USA prelim they already blew the results for me.

You mean Les Sabres' Miller? Forty-two saves!
Reminded me of Dominik Hasek in Nagano...not in style but certainly in results.

The 3rd game Sunday was anti-climatic after the other two due to top goal tending by Sweden. Even with 6 power plays Finland could not score but they did play some great D. Still, it was a good game to watch.

USA plays next on Wed at 3:00 PM EST in the Quarterfinals.

Canada vs Germany tonight in the elimination round. If Canada were to blow this one I think they would take away Babcock's passport.
