We get quite a few jets (and other aircraft) flying over for bigwig funerals at Arlington Cemetery. Had one just the other day for an Air Force Lt Gen.

 

As for last night's game - WOW. I finally cut it off after the Sox went ahead in the top of the 13th. I thought it was over. Little did I know they would make a fielding error in the bottom of the 13th for the Dodgers to even the score. Not over until the 18th!!! Oh my gosh. Trying to figure out who was pitching at this point. Were there any pitchers left???

 

Yeah, you're right. Tall order. Go Dodgers! Hope springs eternal.

 

Don't feel bad Deb, it was a long week and I went to bed after nine.
Given the way the game had played out I didn't see a speedy resolution in the cards.
I can't say I made a poor decision.

 

How many of you East Coasters stayed up til 3:30? Out here we bailed early. It was the longest World Series ever.

 

OMG, no way I can watch any game that long. Stayed up until midnight and woke up on the couch at 1:00.

 

I shut down around 1130 no matter what's going on.

Couldn't take much more drama anyway.

Hope the Sox have some arms left for tonight

 

I'm not a fan of baseball, but I do check in on the Sox at times like these. I went to one baseball game at Fenway in my life, went into extra innings. I couldn't wait for it to be over. It's a boring game to me. I can't imagine staying up to watch 18 innings of baseball.

Still, hoping they win the World Series again.

 

between Sox playing tonight and Pats on MNF, I think they're trying to kill me.
I don't do very well anymore without my beauty sleep.
