You shouldn't have long to wait www.brperformance.com
That's the kit I was referring to and I've been waiting almost a year already.

Did you order one or are you waiting for the beta testing to conclude?

I'm still thinking about it, but keep hoping that we will eventually find another place to autocross. I would like to stay in stock.

I'm waiting on the beta testing and some feedback from folks who've bought one. This is one of those cases where I don't want to be an early adopter.

I understand. Kinda like version 1.0 of a software product - better described as 1 point uh-oh. I was looking at it as next year's mod.

Are you going to start up the fossil thread? We're looking at doing a week at Amelia Island before that weekend. If you're fleeing, PM me the location of the key and we'll come by and feed your dogs.

I'm not going anywhere. I'm just awaiting orders from the commander in chief. The FFF is on for May 20 - 21 at my place. I don't know what the menu or itinerary is, as I haven't been cleared for that level of responsibility.

I said I would wait before posting my impressions and I think enough time has passed.

If you own an AP1 and haven't considered this you probably should. Seriously.

My car now has a very serious case of the "quicks" it never had prior to the rear gear change. I can almost play with the crotch rockets from a dead stop now.

The give up in highway mileage is about 3-5 mpg as far as I can tell. I can live with that - that's why we bought the Si (one of several reasons we'll be driving it to the FFF).

The best part is when you're driving in the twisties and may have wondered what gear was best. Now either of your two choices is probably OK. You'll get pull in either one.

I kept my stock ring and pinion but I don't foresee ever going back. This is just way too much fun.

I'll reserve judgement on AP2's until I can drive one for more than the dealer test drives I've taken on the pretext of trading.
