"Upon further thought, I think everyone knows the news by now. And out of respect for everyones opinions. I think it is best to close this thread now.

The subject is unsettling for some and emotional for others.

I certainly respected his talent as an entertainer. A one of a kind; imitated but never equalled. I liked some of his music.
Years ago I was taken by his oversized hands and feet on such a lithe and small boned person; such is sometimes associated with heart and pul arch malformations. I guess everybody knows he followed an extreme vegan like diet. All day today they are focusing on all the script drugs he was taking. Could be another Marilyn, Elvis, and Anna Nicole drug related consequence.

I feel pity for MJ and the way he grew up.
We all grow up with restrictions and limits which keep us "within the normal realm of society."
Fame and fortune knock down many of the barriers which allow some behavior most others just find odd, appalling, or just downright disgusting.
I try not to judge, lest I be judged, I'm just glad I didn't have to walk in those slippers.

I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I find that [second-to] last post to be horribly offensive.

Where's Shelley with her can o' ban?

Looks like Michael was a polarizing individual both in life and now in death. As far as the mans music is concerned, I was never in to it. In 82/83 at the height of his fame I was listenning to Ozzy Osbourne and Def Lepard. That being said, the guy was a huge talent. No one could deny that.

What really does get me, though, is how the media was so quick to try to tear him down every chance they could while he lived, but now that he's dead, every time I turn on the tv theres the sappy music and yet another report glorifying the man. I wish someone would stick Charlie Gibsons head up his own behind to shut him up. Wait, never mind Charlie's head is always up there.

As far as agreeing with Maury about the thread closure? I always agree with Maury because he's my boy!!!
