You can select any .wav file stored on your pc.

If your not sure what you have, open windows explorer and search your HD for *.wav.

Oh and the default directory for Microsoft sounds is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office (assuming you installed Office on C under Program Files).

Hye Trit, I still have the kid's first Apple IIC. Isn't there a computer museum somewhere out there?
We had a fantabulous computer museum here in Boston several years back. It was sponsored by one of the founders of Digital Equipment Corporation. But, it's gone now; I think it was moved to the west coast, but I'm not sure.

It had an Eniac, in all it's huge, discrete component glory. It had lots of other great things, including PC / Apple history.

Dave

Is it doing what you wanted it to do? Does Outlook serve your purpose?

[QUOTE=dlq04,Nov 29 2004, 10:32 PM] I think it will except I need to set it up for start up so it's always running.

^Here is what I use to keep my computers on the correct time:

Set Your Computer Clock Via the Internet - NIST Internet Time Service

It's a small program you download, install and run. It connects to the NIST time servers and corrects your computer clock to the current local time.

Please help! Ever since I loaded Lotus SmartSuite on my computer (only wanted to upgrade Lotus 1-2-3) when I fire up my computer in the morning, a "toolbar" comes up all the way across the top of my desktop, that says Lotus SmartSuite, and has different pulldown menus to click on. I can pull down one off the menus to close it, but I have to do this every day. I want the damn thing to go away forever. I found the exe file that does it, but when I hide that file, I get an error message on startup.
Where is the file (used to be a config file) I can edit out the line that calls up this toolbar? I am new to Windows XP Pro, and can't find it in the control panel, or using Explorer. Any suggestions? Thank you.

It sounds like its in the registry. Local Machine, Software, Microsoft, Windows, Run. You would have to delete the Lotus startup key.

Don't do anything yet until I check.

I haven't used Smart Suite in a few years, but I will check it tomorrow.
