Default Democratic Presidential Candidates

I think I mentioned to some of you how disillusioned I have become with our U.S. government since the Bush administration took us back into Iraq.

Now, pardon me, my Republican friends, but I was wondering if anyone wanted to offer opinions / thoughts about the Democratic candidates that are running. Who's the right guy?

I think General Wesley Clark is my man. Most importantly, I think he can sway Republicans and undecideds in the general election to move away from Bush and place their votes with him.

But, I don't think I know enough yet about him.

Anyway, what are your thoughts.

Hmmm. Rule # 1 my mom and dad taught me was never to argue religion, politics or breast size.

I voted for Perot. Honestly, I can't remember why anymore, but I did. My vote is usually the kiss of death for a candidate.

Chaz, it's probably too early to tell. I just don't see the Dems having anyone who can rally the troops to unseat a sitting president. Every time I hear them talking it's blah, blah, blah. Clinton had a message..."it's the economy stupid". I just don't hear any message from these guys. P.S. For the record, I'm a registered Independent.

I definitely hear you, Carmen. Though, it's typical for there to be a lot of infighting and negative campaigning during a primary. So, it's always hard to judge.

You may indeed be right. There may be no one who can topple Bush. I will refrain from saying how this makes me feel.

(I guess I just did )

This is a very good topic, and a topic that deserves to be discussed. It is also a topic that oftentimes becomes heated as many of us have strong convictions about the candidates.

Deb and I will allow this thread to continue as long as the debate remains civil and intelligent. Lets have a good discussion so that we can all learn something.

Thanks.
