Dick Gregory dies at the age of 84
Dick Gregory, social activist, civil rights activist and comedian died at the age of 84.
Through the use of humor he made the case for civil rights, social rights and participated in anti war efforts. Dick Gregory rest in peace.
A sample of his social humor from the NY Times obit:
Some lines became classics, like the one about a restaurant waitress in the segregated South who told him, “We don’t serve colored people here,” to which Mr. Gregory replied: “That’s all right, I don’t eat colored people. Just bring me a whole fried chicken.”

Yes, it is most unfortunate that now with the rise of white supremacy, neo-Nazism and anti-Semitism those who were the early fighters in the struggle against those evils, and those who can recount the horrors of them are dying. We need to be able to hear about the horrors over and over so that we don't repeat them.
