I really did feel stupid and silly after that. I don't know what came over me.
It was fun, wasn't it? I do that once in a while too. Other times, I just ignore the kids.

Sure you won't! Bad Val. You need to be on stage, girlfriend.
What's the over and under on this? This is way sweeter than a lottery ticket!

Great story, Val! I've had it happen to me a few times almost exactly like that! Poor kids shoulda checked out Grandpa's ride a little more thoroughly before trying to brag! It is darned hard to resist putting pedal to metal in those circumstances.

For some reason, around here, the BMW folks are just as bad as the kids in hopped-up Civics, tho.

Remind me not to let you and Val anywhere near each other on the road at any of these meets, please!

Granny, I don't think Val would provoke me like the kids seem to like to do, and I know darned well that I should not go provoking her - I hate eating exhaust fumes! So, no worries.

Now, otoh, if we could find a nice, big, long, empty mall parking lot....

See what I mean? Just what we need, another crazy kindred spirit in the bunch! But at least you know better than to mess with the Valster. Smart man!

I'll bet one of your favorite changes is the glass rear window.
I usually only see wide open spaces when I look in my rear view mirror
