The Civil War-Ken Burns-There is no such thing as a bad Ken Burns documentary. This one, "The Civil War" might very well be the best of the best. 10 hours of some of the best documentary I've ever seen. I highly recommend this to everyone.

^His best is yet to come, I think. Starting Sept. 17, his documentary of the Vietnam War begins on PBS. I will be glued to the TV for this series.

The Vietnam War | A Film by Ken Burns & Lynn Novick | PBS
It'll be hard to top "The Civil War" but I tend to agree with you. The next one on Vietnam should be great. I too will be glued to the TV.

I rather liked Ken's "Baseball", "National Parks" was also up there. But yeah, "The Civil War" was maybe his best to date.
Has anyone watched "The War" (WW II)?

I did and it was very good. Not quite so good as the "Civil War" but very good. Well worth watching.

I just ordered "Baseball" from a neighboring library (our county libraries have a lending agreement for residents of the county). I should have it early next week. I can't wait to see it.

REALLY liked Dark Tower. Could be my favorite movie of the summer. Never read the book series though.

Just watched Medicine of the Wolf (Medicine of the Wolf (2015) - IMDb).

Thought it was really good!

Say "The Hitman's Bodyguard" and "John Wick 1" this weekend. Bodyguard was good, however has LOTS of profanity. Would have given it an 8 until I saw the other movies I rated an 8 this summer and liked them better, so I gave it a 7 on IMDB. Mrs. GM3 also gave it a 7.

John Wick 1 was a 6 for me. Good with lots of action, but not really great in my opinion, but entertaining. Mrs. GM3 gave it a 7. We will probably rent Wick 2 now.
