This has been an amazing journey. Those little fellas are now as big as mom and dad. I suppose they'll soon move out and start their own families.

A posting says both eaglets have been in the branches but I thought only one. Probably because I can't tell them apart.

They'll hang around the nest and tree for a few weeks yet. Did you figure how to tell the male and female apart? The female has a rounded tail. The male has a straighter one.

A local 3rd grade neighbor kid pointed that out to me. They've been watching them in class and writing eagle reports. She gave me all the details.
