I tuned in just in time this morning to see one of them forcefully eject poo out of the nest. I'm very happy that I was not under that tree.

One of them took its first flight today and flew to a branch above the nest. Maybe it was gone when you tuned in.

Darn - I missed it!! They are both there now. Sometimes one is out of camera range. You can usually see a bit of him/her off to the side.

+1 says that was a "hop" not a flight. At least what she saw. So I'm thinking how long did the Wright Bros have to keep their hops up to be called a flight.

The big eaglet just hopped up on that branch in the background and sat there for a bit, then hopped down.

Both eaglets are flapping up a storm this morning! The bigger one almost got on the branch again.
