Fun with Comcast
I heard that "justifiable homicide" includes homicides involving cable TV employees!
Hope they get it taken care of for you.
We have Time Warner, and service/tech support has been fine... just the monthly bills are annoying!

I felt your pain until:

Now I'm pain free. Maybe you and Rori should move up here.

My mother has FIOS in The Villages. I'll be there permanently in a couple of years. But in the meantime, I've got my Steyr AUG unpacked and loaded. Or I may borrow one of my neighbor's golf clubs. We'll see how I'm feeling in the morning.

If I could get by with just rabbit ears on the TV I would.
Dean,
That is a bummer. I feel the same way about doing land line business with Verizon over the years. First off do most people think of Verizon as a phone company? Try finding a contact phone number to call them on their web site. OH, in fairness their have changed the web site and it is easier to find a phone number than it used to be. I guess that I was NOT the only one to complain about this.
About three years ago we had no dial tone on land line home phone. I placed a service call on their website after going through all of the hulu hoops that they put one through. (As a former PBX Administrator and one that made his living with telephony products for almost twenty years, I understand telephony). I was informed that the earliest that they would have a technician out was nine days. My response was that I wanted a management person to call me an explain how and why it should be acceptable to me to be without 911 service for NINE days? Surprisingly I did receive a call the next day on my mobile phone, the result of that conversation was they had a technician out to fix the problem (out side of the house, which I knew it was) and that technician called me after he corrected their problem. I got the call on my way to the TomCatt run.
I finally got fed up with paying them almost forty dollars a month for a land line that rarely gets used. So I switched to Magic Jack a month ago. We were able to port our old home number and so far it seems to work fine. I have had only one call drop so far.
On the other hand our Cable TV and ISP is Cox. Aside from the pain of the monthly payment I have to state that from the service side they have been GOOD enough that I have no plan on changing. We occasionally have a problem with picture freeze or audio interruption but one can call into their automated system from one's phone and have the cable box / HD DVD reset remotely and so far that has solved the problem every time.
Back in 2003 when we had our garage built the electric company (of all people) cut the cable when they were burying the electric lines from the street to the house. The Cox tech and I got into a conversation while he was running the new cable and he told me that because so many Congressman and Senators live in Fairfax County (mainly because of the great school system) Cox makes the Fairfax system the "show place" of their lobbying effort. IMO it just goes to prove that if a politician helps one, it is through little effort of their own, but on the backs of private sector.
I will get down off my soap box now. Before Jim slaps me down.

and while there is nothing more satisfying than connecting with driver it is the hardest in the bag to hit.
In this case you really want to be able to relaxed and swing with confidence, yup definitely the 7 iron.

I'd probably go with the 7 iron. it's tough to get the face squared up on the longer irons and any of the short irons or wedges might have to much bounce in the sole of the club.
