Dig into your history books and read about a WWII German interrogator who became a master at gleaning information from Allied pilots that were captured. He was remarkable in his non-physical techniques that became the staple for agencies later in years.
He was Hanns Scharff, known as an "Obergefreiter". His story and techniques were a critical part of the SERE (Survival, evasion, resistance, and escape) course the Navy puts out for combat individuals to prepare them for capture, confinement, and torture. (Everyone is waterboarded, by the way-no it is not torture. Been there, done that but really glad I won't do it again)
What is the point? He utilized every single bit of intelligence to his advantage. He used the combined picture to give the new target a feeling of uselessness; that the enemy already knows everything. Many times the the fresh face would divulge something he thought unimportant. Nothing is useless. With all that information Hanns was able to connect the dots and generate incredible and useful intelligence.
In this modern day, processors, servers, algorithms, and memory beyond imagination connect all the dots. We leave little crumbs as we go through our life in everything that becomes digital.
Death by a thousand cuts.
