Thanks, Raymo. I was looking at waterfront property on the Georgia/South Carolina coast a couple of days ago (on line, not in person). I'm just not familiar enough with the area to know where I might want to live in that region.

Here's the story. I have MRI results and report, appointment with the doc next week. Full thickness rotator cuff tear, conservative measures were tried after the last MRI showed a partial tear. I'm pretty certain a repair can be done, and likely it will be a repeat of what I had done on the other side last year. I'm not looking forward to it, but I know if I leave it alone it could get worse. I've had good days and bad days, but sleep is a real issue and getting worse.

I'll go with the doc's recommendation and take it from there.

There you have it.

I'd rather sit on a runway.
Any idea what you have been doing to cause this, or is it just congenital?

Unless it's repetitive computer work, too much time at a desk, no clue. I haven't done much major league pitching, and not much overhead work, though at five feet, I do have to reach a lot.

It's not uncommon to have rotator cuff issues on both shoulders. The doc told me that when I brought it to his attention last year. No family member has any issues with this.

We'll see what next Tuesday brings....As they say these days. "It is what it is."

It's more than a little rude to be asking people about their congenitals, don't you think?

Well, don't expect me to share any details with you about my congenitals. That's between me and my urologist.
